Hi Substack, long time no see.

This does contain “The Drama” spoilers to beware!

I saw The Drama twice in theaters (two VERY different viewing experiences) but here are my quick thoughts.

Emma: Changed but she still lied, at their final of many tastings when the secrets are revealed Charlie discloses that Emma told him that her injury was from birth. Although Emma did not go through with her plan, even changed for the better, the series of decisions she made and thoughts she had will ultimately be carried with her forever.

Charlie: Did a bad thing and was cowardly. He had every right to stand his ground against Rachel in her office but lied on Emma’s behalf to soften her image which ultimately lead to him royally embarrassing himself in front of Sam and her UNIQLO jacket. Also deleting the kind parts of Emma in the vowels was NASTY.

Mike: Was a good friend but ultimately a huge coward when he goes up against his partner who does not respect him. I did love the moment he and Charlie shared when Charlie was writing his original vows though.

Rachel: Bad partner, bad acquaintance, bad person.

Now that THAT part is out of the way, I want to share all the pieces that I loved about adult Emma, the home she shared with Charlie, and the life they built before (ya know).

STYLE: CAN SOMEONE PLEASE ID THE SWEATER EMMA IS WEARING WHEN THEY VISIT THE PHOTOGRAPHER, perfect amount of baggy/structured/slouch.

HOME:That beautiful Boston home with the staircase, his and her’s bedside lamps, and cozy feel that just seemed so lived in.

I would say life but it was kind of rough, so pressing on.

Other end of the spectrum let’s talk about another Emma I live for, Miss.Chamberlain.

She dropped a collab with West Elm and I LOVE IT.

Recently, I decided to renew my lease but my space desperately needs a refresh, here are my favorites from the collection that I would bring into my home.

So 70s and so uniquely her, queen of personal branding.
